Glamwithease’s built-in messaging lets you connect with clients directly inside the app, no exchanging phone numbers, no third-party chats. Whether a client wants to ask about a service before booking or you need to share last-minute directions, the messaging feature keeps every conversation organized and tied to your professional profile.

Finding Your Messages

Navigate to the Messages tab at the bottom of your Glamwithease app to see all of your client conversations in one place. Each thread is labeled with the client’s name and, where applicable, the upcoming appointment it relates to. Tap any conversation to open it and pick up right where you left off.
All messaging happens inside the Glamwithease app. You never need to share your personal phone number or email address with clients.

When Clients Message You

Clients may reach out before they’ve even made a booking, often to ask whether you’re available, what products you use, or whether you can accommodate a specific request. These pre-booking messages are an opportunity to make a strong first impression. Responding promptly signals professionalism and builds the trust that turns an inquiry into a confirmed appointment. The faster you reply, the more likely a curious client becomes a paying one.
Aim to respond to new client inquiries within a few hours. Clients who receive a quick, helpful reply are significantly more likely to go ahead and book.

What to Discuss

Use in-app messaging to cover the details that make an appointment run smoothly:

Service Details

Confirm exactly which service the client wants and clarify any add-ons or customizations before the appointment day.

Inspiration & Reference Photos

Ask clients to share photos of the look they’re going for. Aligning on expectations upfront helps you deliver results they’ll love, and review highly.

Location & Parking

Send your address, parking instructions, or any entry details the client needs so they arrive on time and stress-free.

Prep Instructions

Let clients know if they should arrive with clean hair, no makeup, or any other preparation that helps the appointment go smoothly.

Message Notifications

Enable push notifications for the Glamwithease app so you’re alerted the moment a client sends you a message. Staying responsive, especially in the hours before an appointment, prevents miscommunication and last-minute confusion.

Open your device Settings

Go to your phone’s Settings app and find Glamwithease in your list of installed apps.

Enable notifications

Tap Notifications and make sure notifications are turned on for the Glamwithease app.

Allow banners and sounds

Turn on Banners and Sounds so new messages get your attention even when your phone is locked.

Check in-app notification settings

Inside Glamwithease, go to Profile → Settings → Notifications and confirm that message alerts are enabled.
